"I bought this as a refurb from Newegg preparing to hate it because of its size and because I love Epson printers, but I have been pleasantly surprised. It's a nice looking machine, and it does all I want it to do. It looked brand new. Easy to set up. I've had it a month so I can't say how economical it is, but my last Epson sucked ink like crazy. But so far it looks like this is doing well on ink. I love the copier which works much better than the Epson CX 7400. You can set your choices and draft mode prints acceptably. The scanner works well too. I'm still learning about the printer. I like that it has a rear paper feed since I print a lot of greeting cards and it's easier doing it from the back with a straight feed. One other thing I've had problems with with prior Canon printers (my 1st 2 were Canons) is printing envelopes which were a piece of cake on both the Epsons I had. Well, thumbs up on the MX 700. I have had no problems printing envelopes. Actually I don't even change the paper setting to envelope, so maybe that's why, and I've printed card envelopes and note size envelopes as well as #10."
